We all agree that dogs like learning new skills. And despite the saying that an old dog can’t be taught new tricks, the reality is that old dogs still like learning them.
Currently, dogs are trained for a variety of highly specialized occupations – from military dogs to police dogs to service and therapy dogs. Since these animals like pleasing their owners, simply spending time with your pet might improve your mood if you are feeling depressed. Numerous studies done have clearly shown that owning a dog can improve a person’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Because of this, numerous dog breeds are being trained as therapy dogs. The training is quite extensive, and a puppy must demonstrate some astonishing skills for them to be able to do their job properly in the future.
With that, you should meet Misa Minnie, a very intelligent Yorkie. In the video below, she showed over 15 distinct feats at only 7 months old. She may be small and adorable but she is also quite talented!
When she becomes a year old, she will take her therapy dog exam, which I am confident she will pass with flying colors. What is do you think about this?
Misa, according to her trainer, enjoys rewards, training outdoors (and playing indoor dog games), and the California sunshine. This adorable Yorkie has an excellent repertoire of tricks and responds well to positive reinforcement and her trainer’s teaching techniques.
Some fundamental dog skills, such as roll over, shake, and sit pretty, are adorable yet quite common but still amazing to watch when dogs do them. Misa can do all of these but you must wait to discover what else she has accomplished. You will be quite amazed.
Have you ever witnessed a dog bowling, sticking her tongue out at you, or riding in a wagon? Just wait because will be more than happy to show that she can do these.
Misa Minnie would make an exceptional therapy dog and she will be an adorable one. She is kind, loving, and a cutie-patootie that will make anyone’s day better!
Now, if only I could convince my Yorkie to retrieve the newspaper, bring me my slippers, and massage my feet.
