Golden Retriever siblings Xena and Finn captured the hearts of netizens when their owner posted a video of them on Instagram and TikTok with a text on the screen that says, “Everyone wants a little brother until…”. The clip shows Xena, the Golden Retriever, ranting about her younger brother, Finn. On their Instagram page @goldengirl_xena, Xena is described as the sassy queen of the house, while Finn is the annoying little brother.
Sneak peeks from their daily adventures can be seen throughout the video. A funny description on the screen with each scene perfectly captured the goofy acts of the doggo duo. Some things that make Xena think twice about having a little brother are making her smell his breath, Finn stealing everything from her, copying everything she does, and Finn being VERY needy.
Their video has now gathered over 50,000 likes and about 300 comments. Netizens could easily relate to their post as the doggo pair somehow reminded them of their experiences of having a sibling. Many were also surprised that their actions were similar to those of human siblings. Others can’t stop expressing their admiration over the silly antics of the Golden Retriever siblings.
Like this doggo duo, we may sometimes bicker or get jealous of each other, but having a sibling can make us happier, healthier, and better human beings. Siblings are, more often than not, a child’s first playmate and an adult’s oldest friend. They may sometimes annoy us and have a weird way of showing how they care for us, but we still love them anyway.
