What will you do if someone rings your doorbell in the middle of the night? Probably, you will be on guard; you will be more cautious and will not let the visitor come in easily.
However, a couple in South Carolina was glad that they responded to the doorbell. It turned out that their missing dog had returned, and she wanted to enter the house. Check out this smart pupâs incredible story.
Someoneâs at the door!
Rajah the dog ran away from home right after she got spooked by the fireworks. Mary Lynn Whitacare, Rajahâs owner, said that the pup was a fast runner, so she and her husband didnât have an idea how far Rajah could have gotten and where she was.
For seven hours, the couple did their best to find the dog and bring her home. Mary Lynn said that she and her husband Ryan were freaking out and that they felt helpless.
Then, around three in the morning, the couple heard the doorbell ring. And to their surprise, it was their dog. But what fascinated Mary Lynn and Ryan was the fact that Rajah knew how to use the doorbell.
Mary Lynn explained that she didnât have any idea where the dog learned how to do it. She admitted that she and her husband didnât even use their doorbell.
Nevertheless, it was such a nice thing that Rajah made it home safe.
Thankfully, Rajah is safe
Rajah was safe and sound when she got home. But she had some evidence that she went on some adventure. The dog had thorns on her body, and she even smelled of poop.
Mary Lynn said that Rajah thought she was going to be in trouble, which was why the dog remained sad and sulking. But she said that she and her husband were happy that the dog was back. They were even laughing at the dogâs misplaced guilt.
