We couldn’t decide whether this new trend of pretending to eat a dog’s paw is funny or not. The poor pets definitely didn’t and for good reason.
Imagine just hanging out with your favorite hooman and then that person proceeds to eat your paws. Dogs have the purest hearts out there, so it’s not in their nature to prank someone.
Sure, they’re cheeky sometimes, but they’ve never done something like this to us. This Rottweiler was shocked that his mom went ahead and ate his paw, although he didn’t feel any pain.
Fortunately, this Rottie figured out that his mom was just playing a prank on him after a few seconds of looking at her with a stunned expression. He knew because she smiled at him.
Something must have clicked in his mind after that because he looked like he was about to pass out. He was relieved because, for a couple of seconds there, he thought mom did the unthinkable.
This pet believes that mom loves him, so it was a confusing moment when she fake-ate his paw. Dogs just don’t have a mean streak in them, so we could just imagine this pet’s surprise.
Thankfully, this doggo realized that everything was just a prank. We could just imagine this Rottie’s heart rate when mom took her very first bite. It must have thundered faster than galloping horses!
The last part of the clip showed this pet leaning back in relief with a smile on his face. Mom also smiled at her pet’s actions, knowing that she got him real good.
We hope you made up for that little prank of yours right there, mom. Your Rottie deserves to be compensated for that near heart attack you gave him.
