Therapy dogs bring a great deal of joy and comfort to those they serve. And people who have these animals are quite lucky to have a very helpful companion.
Seven dogs have spread joy far and wide after posing for a photo while eating their own version of Thanksgiving dinner. The dogs are members of the branch in South Florida of Therapy K9. They sat comfortably and faced the camera in the photograph. They all looked fantastic in their Thanksgiving attire and all looked so behaved.
Looking at the photo, you may be wondering why the dogs did not devour the Thanksgiving turkey. The reason behind this is that it was a plastic turkey!
The following were the dogs that came as partygoers: Simba, London Whysper, Legion, Ziva, and Isabella. They surely all looked like they had a good time. Trish Gorry, the owner of Legion, said that the picture shoot was a big success. Later on, the photograph gained popularity, especially online.
Trish shared the photo on her Facebook page in early November. It started to gain popularity as Thanksgiving drew near. Fans who saw the photo remarked on how well-dressed each of the dogs appeared.
Typically, therapy dogs have a lot on their plates. They visit libraries, nursing homes, and group homes, among other locations. They also take part in activities such as fire safety exercises. They are such an amicable and helpful group of dogs.
Additionally, the dogs visit prisons to provide comfort and company. They also benefit people recovering from PTSD.
It’s difficult to capture an amazing photo of your puppy, much more a group of dogs. This is primarily because they’re constantly on the move and just keeping still is something that they have a hard time doing.
However, there are a few tricks to do such a feat. A bowl of food is one of the simplest ways to attract the pup’s attention.
