Once in a while, you find a special dog that inspires people to do more. Meet Chipper. Chipper is a dog who loves recycling and making the world a better place.
Katie wanted to adopt a dog. She wanted to give one dog a loving family. Katie went to three shelters and saw Chipper on the second one that she went to.
She saw this black mutt and immediately fell in love with him. Katie was so excited to have someone to come home to. Little did Katie know that Chipper’s role in her life was much deeper than that.
Katie loves being outdoors and going on adventures. Katie was surprised by how much Chipper loved it too. From hiking to paddleboarding, Chipper enjoys it as much as Katie does.
Katie also enjoys doing her part in cleaning out beaches. She would pick up water bottles and plastics. Chipper followed her example and picked up a water bottle. He loves the sound that it made when he grabs it with his mouth.
Since then, he has been picking up water bottles and plastics as well. Chipper would then give what he picked up to his mom so that Katie can segregate it properly. It’s a team effort.
Katie then adopted another dog named Quinci. Quinci came from a hoarder and was scared of everything. Chipper helped Quinci in gaining more confidence. Chipper showed Quinci everything he knows about being a happy dog. He showed her how fun it was to open up and be a part of a family.
In time, Quinci was joining Katie and Chipper on their hikes. Because of her big brother, Quinci has learned to recycle as well.
Chipper has inspired so many people, including his family. They are doing their part in cleaning up the environment, and other people should too. This inspiring dog is living out his life’s purpose.
