Nothing puts Capitan in a lonely state as when his master died. The demise of Miguel from Argentina left his pet without a companion; none could fit in his shoes. The gap that Miguel Guzman left touched his dog, causing it to mourn for years.
Surprisingly, after the death of Miguel, his dog disappeared for a few days. Probably, he was looking for his master. Luckily, the dog traced the master until he located his grave and decided to rest there!
Capitan dared to locate Miguel at an utterly remote place initially; when Miguel died while in the hospital, his family transferred the body to a funeral home, which was far away from his residence.
One day, the funeral director saw Capitan arrive alone at the cemetery. The curious dog performed several laps before locating the master’s grave without seeking any guidance. Ever since, the dog routinely visits the grave daily at precisely 6.00 pm.
The affection shown by the dog to his master’s grave proves that the two have a strong bond. When Capitan remembers the tender love that his master used to show him, he can only reciprocate by visiting his grave.
What else could Capitan do? Find a new human companion? Admittedly, none matches the lost master. The fresh memories of their friendship and extraordinary love for one another still linger in Capitan’s mind.
Miguel maintained this habit of consistently visiting the master’s grave for six years. No one would want to believe his action, but the truth is that he must have been mourning.
What can you recommend for Capitan? Yes, he needs comfort. Miguel will never resurrect, so Capitan must accept this fact. Capitan displayed strong dedication.
