A dog named Madi has a quirk that somehow shows her snobby attitude. She will never ever settle for anything less. Instead of being picked up, she demands an elevator treatment. By that, it means that she will be lifted up on a pillow.

Madi the pampered dog
Apparently, Madi is a very particular dog who only likes a few people in her life. According to Serena Hodson, the dog’s mom, Madi can be quite moody. One second, Madi wants all the cuddles that she can get, and the next moment, she will completely ignore Serena. In other words, Madi can also be sassy.
Another proof of 11-year-old Madi’s snobbishness is her desire not to be picked up unceremoniously. But it’s impossible not to pick her up because she’s a tiny pup. While she loves hanging out on the couch or bed with Serena, the pup can’t get up there by herself.
Serena used to put a blanket over Madi when picking her up, so the dog wouldn’t be able to bite her human. But Serena’s partner came up with a bright idea – the elevator method.
Lifting Madi on a pillow
So, what exactly is the elevator method? Whenever the pup wants to get onto the couch, Serena will put a pillow on the floor. Then, Madi will hop onto it. Once Madi is on the pillow, Serena will lift the pillow up, so the dog can get onto her desired spot.
Serena finds the whole thing funny, as Madi can’t do any tricks but can somehow communicate her desire to be picked up in style. Serena adds that Madi even gets really excited to be lifted up in an elevator-like manner. She even prances around the room just because she can’t contain her excitement.
