We cannot avoid obsessively checking the news about the worldwide pandemic daily. However, we should also take care of our emotional well-being and get absorbed in activities to help us cope. One of the best ways to brighten our moods is to read uplifting articles about our furry friends.
Thanks to Rae, I spelled ‘ear’ backward. This charming golden retriever’s photos and videos have touched the hearts of many viewers.
Rae has only one ear at the center of her crown, just like a unicorn’s horn. Nevertheless, this unique feature makes the golden girl all the more alluring. Her ear looks like a natural part of her gorgeous fur, and her lively spirit and confidence make her a total package of cuteness.
To this date, her Instagram account has had a massive following. She has also become a star on TikTok.
Brianna Vorhees, the doggie’s new owner, is a receptionist at Family Friends Veterinary Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan. She met Rae when she was newly born and brought to the hospital because of an accident that stole her left ear.
Rae needed immediate surgery and round-the-clock care, but her breeder could not attend to her needs and feared the poor pup’s future life. Incidentally, Brianna was longing to have a pet. Her golden retriever died of lymphoma last year, so she took this opportunity to step up and take her in.
Over time, Rae’s ear grew skin and migrated upwards. The accident turned out to be a treasure of a gift.
Our Rae of sunshine is now in the spotlight to charm us amid anxiety and worry. Let us learn how to adjust during the coronavirus pandemic and find ways to deal with our global problem positively.
