Malamutes Play Without Abandon On A Spacious Yard, And Their Carefree Roughhousing Is The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of

Malamutes Play Without Abandon On A Spacious Yard, And Their Carefree Roughhousing Is The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of

Robert Billy September 26, 2023

Ask anyone who’s ever seen a Malamute playing and they’ll tell you it’s both a sight to behold and a tad bit intimidating. These massive creatures are known for their loud growls and their ability to take down intruders.

But don’t let that fool you; these gentle giants are some of the sweetest creatures you’ll ever meet. Just ask anyone who’s ever owned one.

Niko and Teddy are two such Malamutes who love nothing more than spending a lazy afternoon roughhousing in their spacious backyard. They look so free and happy that it’s impossible not to watch them and feel a sense of joy.

One of the things that make Malamutes so fun to watch is their playfulness. When they’re playing with each other, it’s not uncommon to see them growling and baring their teeth. But don’t worry, this is just their way of roughhousing.

They’re really just trying to have a good time. They’re really just big cuddle bugs who love a good wrestle, that’s all. Unfortunately, their growls can be quite daunting, even if you know they’re just playing.

On top of that, they’re massive creatures, so it’s easy to feel a tad intimidated by them. Intruders will surely think twice about trying something fishy with these two around.

Teddy and Niko are the sweetest cuddle bugs out there despite their loud vocals while playing. Niko is especially vocal in expressing her joy when she subdues Teddy. We think it’s her battle cry, and we’re here for it!

If you’re thinking about getting a Malamute, we say go for it. Just be prepared for some loud noises (and maybe some broken vases). These gentle giants are well worth the trouble, and you’ll be getting more than just guard dogs. You’ll be getting a friend and a happy pill for life!
