When rescuers from Love Furry Friends Animal Rescue saw a video of three puppies playing in a busy road on social media, they sprang into action. They knew they had to bring them to safety at the soonest possible time. So they gathered as many details as they needed, and the next morning, they drove to the rescue site.
The location was an industrial area, and besides the puppies seen in the clip, there were two adult dogs that lived in the factory, too. According to the workers, they keep them to guard the place. They look after them and then make sure they stay in the area at all times.
While the laborers were kind enough to ensure the safety of the adult dogs, they admitted that the female dog was never spayed. As a result, she constantly got pregnant and gave birth to unwanted litter. Sadly, none of her puppies lived that long because they either fell sick or got hit by speeding cars.
Right off the bat, the security guard let the rescuers in and agreed to surrender the puppies to them. He said that they don’t need them after all. But as for the mama dog, he said she needed to stay.
The rescuers explained that all they wanted to do was to fix the momma dog so there won’t be any more puppies. They also promised to bring her back once she recovered. And while it took a little while, in the end, they convinced him to let them take her with them.
The momma dog and her three girls all received medical care to make sure they were in excellent health. Afterward, the puppies enjoyed a day of spa treatment, and then they continued to the shelter later on. Concurrently, their mom underwent spay surgery and spent a few days recovering at the animal clinic.
Once the momma dog recovered, the rescuers took her back to the factory and fulfilled their promise. They wanted her to find a forever home but the workers promised to take very good care of her so they rest assured that she’d be fine.
Meanwhile, the rescuers also took the time to share the puppies’ photos and stories on social media and it didn’t take very long for them to find their perfect matches. One puppy found her happily ever after a few days ahead, but eventually, her sisters joined their forever families, too.
