Thoa, Thi, and Tra Bui have been on a mission to help kittens who have been, unfortunately, dealt with the short end of the stick. And along with their two huskies, Lilo and Infinity, they’ve helped abandoned kittens get nursed back to health and eventually live fruitful lives. While most of the kittens they rescue find a new home, one kitten found them and instantly felt at home with them.
They first met her one night and she was so small. probably just two weeks old at that time. She was obviously starving but unlike other starving kittens who feed on anything offered to them, she wasn’t even interested to drink. It was definitely a challenge but they tried their best to constantly monitor her. Sadly though, that was the only thing they could do for her as they wait for her to gain her appetite.
They named the kitten Rosie and as she continued to not be interested in sustaining herself, one of the huskies decided to intervene. As Rosie’s condition started worsening over the night Lilo’s interest turned to concern. Lilo decided to present herself to Rosie as her mom and she took care of little Rosie.
Nobody knew what could happen but as it turned out Lilo’s motherly love was all that Rosie needed. Rosie started drinking milk after having Lilo by her side and mother her. After Rosie started taking interest in feeding herself Lilo stayed by her side ever since.
Lilo became Rosie’s adoptive mom and there’s a weird unsettling behavior that they go through when they are apart from each other. However, when they’re together Lilo is just a gentle and caring mom also a whole lot patient. The now very clingy and active cat and her adoptive mom became inseparable.
So, there was no other choice left but to adopt Rosie and let Lilo parent her. Rosie has fully settled in her new life and enjoys the same activities as her mom. She doesn’t want to be left behind with anything so she’ll also tag along on walks, swimming, going to the park, even road trips.
As Rosie grew older, she became more independent but she still craves Lilo’s presence. Lilo on the other hand still sees Rosie as her little baby, as most parents do to their mature children, and still dotes on her. Rosie’s now a big wide-eyed cat but will forever be Lilo’s baby kitty.
