It’s heartbreaking to see puppies being abandoned in random places. Stormi is one such puppy who had been left for dead in a basket. Fortunately, numerous people are willing to take care of a dog in need.
While Stormi was in the animal clinic, a veterinary technician named Jessica took an interest in her. Jessica felt a connection to the puppy while she was holding her catheter. Because of this, she proceeded to volunteer as the dog’s foster parent.
Jessica took care of Stormi in the bathroom because that’s where she usually keeps foster pets. After the first day, she returned to the office with the puppy. Everyone was shocked to see that Stormi was still alive.
One day Jessica noticed Stormi’s tail began to wag. It was a sign the everything from that point on was going uphill. In two weeks, Stormi was wobbling around the house, which made Jessica feel amazing.
Stormi became very playful. At that point, she was ready to mingle with other dogs, so Jessica introduced her to Elle, a rottweiler. Elle was Jessica’s main dog, who helps her when fostering puppies.
Stormi would often try and play with Elle even when she’s tired. Since Elle is such a nice dog, she doesn’t say no and allows the play to happen. Their favorite activities are tug-of-war and ripping toys apart.
Stormi grew up to be a very energetic and sassy pit bull. One day Jessica realized that she could no longer give her away. In the end, she failed the foster care and adopted Stormi, making her a permanent addition to the family.
Jessica and her workmates at the clinic threw a party to celebrate Stormi’s adoption. The dog played with the balloons and the toys given to her. Stormi enjoyed every second of that part, and she’ll enjoy life in her permanent home even more.
