Dog owners are often excited when their pet dogs are about to give birth. It’s hard not to look forward to seeing puppies and playing with them. However, before that can happen, the owner must assist their dog during the birthing process first.
Here’s a documentary about two brothers from South Korea who were excited to help their dog give birth. Their dog’s pregnancy was due, and they were preparing everything they could to assist her. Both of them couldn’t contain their excitement.
One of the brothers prepared beef shank so Heeya can replenish her energy after giving birth. The other brother made ornaments out of chili peppers to follow superstition. He believes it will help drive away bad energy during that important day.
The older brother was more nervous than the dog who was giving birth. He couldn’t help but watch in anticipation until Heeya goes into labor. Later that day, the dog began experiencing labor pains. It was time for the magical moment to happen.
Several hours had passed before Heeya’s first puppy came out. The older brother had everything prepared. He assisted in pulling the puppy out and wiped him clean shortly after. This process was repeated until all seven puppies were delivered.
The brothers didn’t expect Heeya to give birth to a lot of puppies. They had only anticipated four, but having more was a pleasant surprise. Regardless of the number of puppies, the brothers’ emotions remained the same.
The older brother was the most enthusiastic person in the room. Due to this enthusiasm, he had taken over the responsibility of keeping the puppies warm. Heeya would often sit in the corner on her own when she’s not nursing.
The younger brother disagrees with how, the older brother takes care of Heeya. He wants to spend some time with the puppies too. However, despite having disagreements, both brothers were willing to share the responsibility and joys of being a pet owner.
