Giant dogs are sometimes clueless about how big they actually are. This obliviousness is often seen as charming by certain people. For them, the goofiness of large dogs is what makes them worth having.
This story is surely a good example of the life of people who own big goofy dogs.
Bok Choy is a large Malamute owned by an Asian American woman named Tracey. His sheer size makes every action he makes comical, so there’s always laughter whenever he’s around. He’s also very clingy, so he’d go wherever Tracey is, even if she’s in the bathroom.
When Tracey told her father that she would get a dog, he wasn’t excited. Her father had a previous dog who passed away, so he was worried about getting attached to another one. Fortunately, Tracey’s dad eventually accepted and bonded with Bok Choy.
Bok Choy loves spending time with Tracey’s dad. So much so that he would often wait at the door for the man to come home. Bok Choy can tell if Tracey’s father is behind the door compared to other people arriving. Also, sometimes Tracey would catch his father talking to the dog when he thought no one was watching.
Bok Choy knows what he wants and lets Tracey know by making noise. He loves running outside, but if he’s not feeling like doing so, he’d just lie on the ground and be unmoving. If Bok Choy wants to hang out with his friend, Storm, he’ll howl when that name is mentioned.
Bok Choy’s most unique obsession is toilet paper. He’d always steal a roll of it only to access the cardboard cylinder inside it. If given a choice between treats and toilet paper, Bok Choy would pick the latter. Overall, Tracey admits that her dog is annoying, but she also thinks he’s the best.
