Anyone who owns a dog knows that having them take their meds is a hard thing to do. But that surely would not be the case if your pet was this dog in this story.
The dog is aware that any medicine will not taste nice, so she came up with a few strategies and tactics to get the best out of her situation. Her expression at the end is something that will tell you that things work out well for her.
The name of this young Golden Retriever is Coco and on this particular day, she was given her medicine. We have no clear idea what they’re for, but we’re certain it’s for the dog’s benefit and health.
Mom handed Coco the little container that held the medicine that the dog had to take, and Coco immediately consumed it. She did so without incident, and even the second medicine that was given to her was enthusiastically received. This adorable little pup has been on her best behavior so far, but the third medication seemed to be a hurdle for her.
The moment Coco’s owner gave her the syrup, the dog began to struggle. She understood that this would not be a pleasant experience, but she also knew that she had to do it. So without further ado, Coco accepted her meds being the nice dog that she is. And after taking her meds, Coco had one of the most hilarious reactions we’ve ever seen.
She shook her head and stretched on the floor as though to persuade herself that the medication would help her recover.
It is impossible not to remember a time when our meds had an unpleasant flavor. But we know that without them, we would not be in great health. We had to suffer through the meds but we knew it was for our benefit.
This emotion is reflected in Coco’s behavior. Despite the disgusting flavor of the medicine, she is such a courageous pup for doing what she must do.
Thankfully, the puppy just shook off the flavor. We must give Coco a great deal of credit. Congratulations!
